Araw ng Digos City Today!

Digos City is celebrating it's 8th Araw ng Digos City! The week long festival will end today and it started with a parade this morning at around 9:00 a.m. , the parade took around an hour it started at the Quirino Ave. and goes through Rizal Ave. and ends at Rizal Park in this city.

Local schools participated in the parade together with their majorette and school bands that made the affair quiet colorful and lively.

At the parade there we can see that only local schools, local barangays, and Sanguniang Kabataan are present during the parade.


I have not seen one local elected official that participated the parade, they opt to wait at Rizal Park and don't want to walk through the city under the scorching heat of the sun.
