This is going to be a happy month for those household who are consuming electricity equivalent to 100kw and below every month. They are the ones who will benefit the 500 peso electric subsidy which will be implemented by Davao Light this months billing cycle.
“Pantawid Kuryente: Katas ng VAT”, is aimed at helping marginal consumers pay their electric bills to cushion the impact of the prevailing cost of fuel and other commodities.
The local electric service provider will notify the subsidy recipients through a credit memo and will print a separate line and an appropriate message in the text box of their electric bills.
If the customer’s bill is less than the P500 subsidy, the balance will be applied to his subsequent bills until it is fully applied.
