Peque Gallaga speaker on Guerilla Filmmaking Workshop!

Peque Gallaga, a renowned TV/Film/ Theater/Commercial Director/Screenwriter/ Production Designer, Actor, Teacher, will be in Davao to teach in the coming Guerrilla Film-making 6.

As a director he was well known for his critically-acclaimed films like Oro Plata Mata, Scorpio Nights and Virgin Forest. He is also recognized for his special effects fantasy epics and horror films like Tiyanak, Magic Kingdom and Impaktita.

Currently he is based in Bacolod, Negros Occidental and is the prime mover of the local independent filmmaking scene in Negros.

Direk Peque will join Charliebebs Gohetia, acclaimed film editor Charliebebs Gohetia and promising young director Sherad Sanchez as workshop speakers.

The Guerrilla Film-making Workshop is a digital video production and filmmaking crash course open to all students and professionals. Experience/background is not required. It offers an intensive, hands-on experience that gives the participants an opportunity to immerse themselves in the filmmaking process.

Workshop sessions include Story Development, Screenwriting, Directing, Cinematography, Editing, and Producing. These will be conducted on October 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26.

Registration fee is only P 3,000 for students and P 5,000 for professionals, if you register before October 10.
